Ingredients
1 cup
Celery (sliced)
1/2 cup
Carrots (sliced)
1 cup
Milk
2 tablespoons
Cornstarch
3/4 cup
Chicken broth
2 cups
Cooked turkey (diced)
2 tablespoons
Dried onion (minced)
1/2 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1 to 4 teaspoons
Curry powder
Cooked rice for serving
OR bread for serving
Step by Step Instructions
- Saute the celery and carrots in a coated skillet.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cornstarch and 1/4 cup of milk and mix until smooth. Add the chicken broth and the rest of the milk and stir until the mixture is once again smooth.
- Pour the cornstarch mixture over the vegetables and bring it to a boil, cooking and stirring for 2 minutes. Add the turkey and seasonings and stir them in until the turkey has heated through.
- Serve with rice or bread.
